breakaway Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 B******S !!!!!!!! some people just need to chill and enjoy their birds, listen to the dreadmeister ENJOY
andy Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 were talking about the shu rule not the rpra rule ,anyway why is pad allowed to be outside the loft under boards etc why not inside the loft simple and no arguements Hot rod, Are you really for real? The bob wires are adjustable they can be moved forward, or taken off and a pigeon can fly from its nest box into the bay and not get outside of the loft. So its in the loft. All you dinosaurs need to get a life!
andy Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 I posted this for my mate, all enquiries, prices etc, READ THE ORIGINAL POST...........

hotrod Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Hot rod, Are you really for real? All you dinosaurs need to get a life! yes i am thats what ive been sayin you could move the bob wires and also the pad but your right its off topic so im out
pigeonscout Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 The RPRA rule states that the pads should be in the confines of the loft or trapping system, the above trap is perfectly legal, theres nothing stopping a bird flying out again after timing it through open doors. just seems like the anti ETS brigade wants something else to moan about, ETS is here and its here to stay. would it be ok then to have the pad inside the loft just under the front of the roof.
pigeonscout Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 this is how i done mine so easy This has proved to be the best way of traping the birds as you can walk a bird in. If the traps are up high then you have to just wait if it wants to sit about.
jacksafc Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 You cant have pads under landing boards, the obvious would be to put the pads under the landing boards of sputniks. The trap shown should be located with the front of the trap level with the front of the loft, ie within the confines of the loft. The bob wires have no bearing on the matter, open doors have no bob wires.

joe61 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 ok guys im not up on ets does the bird have to touch the pad or can it fly over it and still registar and does somebody from the club go round to people using this system to check that it has not been moved im not knocking the system i think its forward thinking and thats what the fancy needs im just asking oh happy days

ALF Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 alf i know what your saying what i meen is do clubs have a member who goes to another members loft on race day {this member picked at random} and sits during race time to make sure all is above board im asking this about clubs in genrel oh happy days I just worry about what happens in my own club and make sure we keep ourselves right!
gangster Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 joe in my own club 2 members are nominated to check the pads in the members lofts but i dont think you need 2 seal them as the scottish do..i might be wrong
maverick Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 As most fanciers know how a SPUTNIK trap works these traps are just the same the and no diffrent to a STALL TRAP the bird has got to DROP into the trap before it is clocked in, so is INSIDE the loft when clocked
gangster Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 they are well made and look the part ;)
joe61 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 the stall traps look very well made and if cheaper worth a try oh happy days
Roland Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I posted this for my mate, all enquiries, prices etc, READ THE ORIGINAL POST........... I posted this for my mate, all enquiries, prices etc, READ THE ORIGINAL POST........... Exactly!!!! Which is what I often spout about the ET crap scenario. The Pr. V Anti brigade just can't shut the ' whatever' up whenever any topic rises about the ET. Golly even put up a Topic 'Needless ......... ET'S and why does this very crap happen! and That went on for nearly 3 days with every scenario going to try and swing it around to discuss and 'Mostly' the pro ET spout the hear 27,000, 000 times been heard about the 'Good' of the benefits etc. and then insults as to why fanciers 'Don't' have one. 95% didn't even read it properly, and 96% of those that replied on that 'Topic' didn't have the faintest idea what the post was even about in the first place! Like I say, IT WOIULD be nice, if once, just twice now because it happened for half a day yesterday, when a topic on ET's could stay on the topic that it is posted. Like I said, every time it happens and that HAS to be a well putting off to anyone that wants to ask a question on a Et's related topics. Thought that it could be allowed once! Even twice? !
