Delboy Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 If you were an out and out sprint racer and you were offered a pair of pigeons that bred an National Diploma winner ( at the distance ) guaranteed in every nest, would you want them ? I think I know the answer but to settle an argument please put up your views.

ALF Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 As you know I have been trying to acquire some top class distance birds in the last couple of years so yes i would want them 8) 8) ;D ;D ;D
gooner Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 i think you would be a fool to turn them down
Roland Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Yes.... but thay don't exist, unless on a personal basis and and / or one has first refusal. Besides, if they are good at the distance, they will - under another system - be brilliant at the sprints, or Middle too. So one would have ripped the arm out of the shoulder socket! Ouch!
Delboy Posted April 12, 2009 Author Report Posted April 12, 2009 This is just hypothetical, a guy said to me that not everybody is into distance pigeons. I said, I think he is wrong, if they were offered a pair GUARANTEED to breed a winner in every nest , at the distance, then they would then be interested in distance racing.
Delboy Posted April 12, 2009 Author Report Posted April 12, 2009 Ok Derek I will have them, I will send carriage ;D ;D Paul. Afraid Paul, Im on lookout for such a pair myself ;D
