Well great news! Yes the P.O.B. has now formed a committee. The final name to be decided by the new committee. I feel though that it will be P.P.O.B. But of course as of now, I will not be the one making any decisions. Fortunately any and every decision will be via the committee!

We do have 2 signatures for the trustee’s posts, and are waiting for the third to come back to me. Which they will very shortly they’ve informed me. If not, then another ‘Name’ to be trusted will have to be allocated for that part.

  Then an account will be opened.

There is such a lot to get into motion, and we ask that you all, bear with us, show patience now, and always.

Please never be saddened if there is not much apparently happening on the surface, let me assure you all there will be a lot in the back boiler room!

I, for example, believe it believe it not; have worked what seems to have been 24 / 7 over these last few week. Correspondences have been ceaseless.

I have taken on board and council from one or two – could have been many more of you granted, but time and choices have had to be quick and affirmative. Striking whilst the iron is hot so to speak, in order to get as far as this!

We have now, I believe, well past any other projects’ stages in this regard. In fact you can rest assured it is, and has. The rest now is up to ALL of us!

YES we have the put into motion the means, the people to actually do the job. BUT Remember yours, and every increasing support are and will always be needed!

For instance never want to see boo- hood and derogative remarks use. Let alone spouting how great and able such concerns as the RSPB are. We know that any way. But if we pull together, not only will we all prosper, but chip a bit of paint away and place a few dents where needed to be seen.

Just who will hold what positions will remain anominous. I personally feel – as I have always stressed - this will be run on very much ‘Need to know’ Basis.

Besides of all the time debating on forums and each other, I feel this will just way lay us No need to be constantly reminded that the committee will be constantly working for ALL our benefits, whether one supports us or not.

There will be a spoke persons elected to put it to this up on this forum – and other forums. Our / your concerns, via the Owners / Mods permission, what the committee has / have decided. Maybe this, and I for one would love to see it, on the main notice board.

Likewise a page that is purely for constructive thoughts and proposals where only posts for the uplifting modes be allowed to be posted. Any others to be as quickly as possible removed. There are plenty of other pages where the Saboteurs / Hawkers / B.O.P. / Cockers can post without disrupting our much needed space and pages.

Further of course WE can all be responsible in fund – raising and such.

Stu’s very kind offer of being an Auctioneer should, I feel, be taken up.

Likewise the proposal of us having our own sales at Blackpool.

Gareth Rankins’ vies and thoughts do need carefully considered with a view of putting them in action.

Well I have brought you up to speed now as to what has been accomplished, and I feel all of you, who have supported this motion, can all be proud of yourselves.

So, as the saying goes ‘Upwards and onwards’!

So much to do, and so little time eh, but with your shoulders at the wheel this wagon has started to move.

I would also like to end this by saying thank you to you all, not least those that have taken on the role of decision making. Thank you one and all.

If you bothered to read my post, it states simple that I am no longer in a position to make any decisions!!! Simple that even for you to relate too.... well perhaps not!

Further it states simply, when and where decisions have been made every one will be informed.

Further it also says, which of course is over a couple of peoples heads it so seems, that if and when they have an Idea, anything constructive, or could be of an help, then to it it up on a 'page' for all too see and debate.

Now numpty01 wind your neck in, stop your ego of self-importance and running amok. Like all  decent, lovers of their’ birds, will say 'If you can't be for us, no need to be against us'. Meaning if you can't be constructive and helpful, simply butt out and stop being a smart *expletive removed* and let those that are concerned, want things to be done, changed support us. Simple that. You did two things that was out of order already. One reply to me on a open Forum to what I had sent to you in a confidence…. Yes pretentious and to belittle the B.O.P and me. Not open to discussion that as it is there in black and white and doesn’t warrant any reply.

Further you was asked for your input. Was asked if you wished to be aboard. You declined. Simple fact that! So may I humbly suggest you go about buying and fetching, giving birds away, or whatever turns you on and refrain from downing our efforts.

As for Highspeed lofts what does he fly :-/ Hawks. Have never seen any decent post of support and that’s for sure.

Further it is as plain on the nose of your faces that no decisions have been taken hence what and where they spend money is irrelevant.

To close, and to get away from these negative ego stirring posts, you will like the rest of us just have to wait and see. But rest assured that no decision has been made, and you will all be enlightened when there are.

Further. Highspeed Lofts, sure in reality only those willing to put money up have a right to ask :-/ Perhaps you can donate a few hawks lol.

I think that post to numpty 1 is totally negative and out of order - why because he had the audacity to make a statement of fact all organisations should be transparent look at the furore with the expenses scandal in government and everyone keeps asking why the RPRA is not more transparent today its the "name of the game" not that I infer there is anything shady going on it's just that if people are involved they have an entitlement to know who the committee is and who is accountable for what. I still think it is an excellent idea and more power to it but let us know what is happening not just on a "Need to know basis" Once againg "Good Luck"

Blackpool is not the best place to sale pigeons, how about taking the pigeons to the people, ie organise 4 sales in Scotland, North of England, South of England and Wales, we can have a team for each and recruit top pigeons from that area and offer them where they are strongest!!! Max 40 birds at each sale??? Just an idea.

 

But theres one thing to think about, if you get 40 birds from Scotlands finest they will make the most money in Scotland and the same for Wales etc, now is the time to get these birds bred!

Just who wants the RSPB and their 'Ddirty tricks', campaigns, their'power and manipulations, the acess to the media hounding them? You! Well not one with half a brain, and that's for sure. Further, it is for the very responce from the first two that underlines the need for the comittee not to be named! Their' actions, decision, and where and how monies IS SPEND, appropiated should be just fine. Other than that there is simply no reason to know... Best that they can't be emailed, debated with or called on a public domain - So genuine persons won't mind.... others needn't give or support, give, is as simple as that. EVERYONE is invited, all have choice whether to support or not.... so why do they need to know names... Besides names here are in the most only names used on the site, and not real.

So I and most will stand by and agree.... if don't then why bother to support? :-/ And if not supporting then why do they need to know?  :-/ :-/ :o

I would say its simple Chris, ideas and requests are put to the committee, they decide on whether its an appropriate avenue and then make it happen.

 

i.e. you may request that funds are used to produce a video that can be used to highlight the hawk problem whilst promoting the sport which is mailed to schools, committee vote yes, get costs and budget and produce!!! I guess thats the sort of thing!!
