ive wondered about this since joining pigeonbasics,would someone tell me what is a 'Doo' please.

obviously its a pigeon but where does it come from.

Doo is more used with horseman pigeons and it is in fact a cock bird. A hen is just called a hen, He He He! Dookit or doocotes were used way back for a source of food in most big country estates and this is how or why pigeons were first domesticated. Here are some photo's of a dookit.
