my,wife buys me ets rings for xmas present.she buys them from local ets agent,at a good price.SHU ruling says we must buy there rings ,can they tell me where to shop,for example TESCOS or ASDA or can i use the rings without being disqualfied from a race ive won :-/ :-/

right my rings cost 1.20p from agent been toldSHU will be 1.50p  i was informed at our ext.agm that a rule stating that ets rings must be bought or registerd with SHU  was meant to be removed from constitution but wasnt.hence my worries

vander -have been told that since we joined the E.U. that we must adhere to some EU laws --?

if this is right i have been told that under EU laws if something is fit for the purpose  it can not be stopped from being used,so if your ets rings are from an agent and the same design or the same fullstop as the ones that are more expensive [from your union ].it may be worth looking into this law -also do u know that some rings cannot be used on some systems-eg like your mobile sim---if the mobile is open u can use any sim ---if its not only 1 sim can be used.

Unikon systems will only allow unikon chip rings -at the moment i was told benzing is running an open clock[by agent]

Bricon last year did let me asign 2 types of chip rings last year .

id say you can definitely use the rings you have as who says you cant as long as there the same type of ring that all the agents are selling so best of luck and dont worry mate.... mikey .. you wont have a problem there im sure....

Think rings are all about the same price, dosent matter what system you are using,   you need them so they have to be purchased, unless you have plenty at stock,

yep  thats the way of it now would be nice it they could put gps on it then we would all know where  they  ended up   :o :o  would help us all knowing the where abouts
