i if he has got his head screwed on right he would report the bird when he has it come in dont take 5 minutes to ring rpra or ring wing stamp number or telephone clip ring number. so i would say bann as at the end of the day he is a thief.

Yes he should, however I believe that random checks should be made at club/fed level by secretarys to stop this happening, when I was secretary I rang the Reddings lots of times to check winning birds were in the fanciers name, 8 times out of 10 they have our club rings on however I would check  when the rings wasnt registered to our club.

any one can and do race birds  from mates not trans but we all know the risk it comes you dont clock

if some one has got and raced some ones bird with out their permission he is a strag catcher and thief  

if he done it with mine it would be the last time he done it and thats a promise

If it is the same guy who john is talking about yes,the guy actually entered the pigeon for a region award,it was then that they found out it was a stray,not sure what the bird had won for the guy who had it,but as I said before he got away with it,have a look in this weeks BHW west midland region notes,original story was in about 2 weeks ago.

Alan your supposed to put them on sheet as trainers then you have no temptation to clock

THE RPRA TOLD HIM TO GIVE THE BIRD BACK  TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND FOR GET IT. :-/
