JUST HEARD ON THE EVENING NEWS THAT PETROL IS EXPECTED TO RISE TO IT,S HIGHEST EVER PRICE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS :-/

 

Does this mean the feeding will go up in price yet again?  :-/

of course it will along with all the other things that are needed and not only that was told today we wont be getting a rise come april  ??)

yes but it didnt go down the last time even though the fuel price went  down so we are being scammed both ways

we get a 3% rise in pay and everything goes up in price...so does the wage rise count for anything?

aye your right was on telly a few weeks ago that the price had come down on the barrel but not at the pump , were been held to randsom by the oil companys cos they know our economys run on it and cant survive without it , time they invented good electric cars and kicked the oil companys into touch

I take it the Cost Of Living will rocket again with everything costing more just like chips (new pots cost more) but never come back down LLoyd George introduced income tax to help the great war supposed to come off after war had finished.I came back to the Uk in 1967 petrol 50p/gallon SAfrica 50cents a gallon now expected to be £1.20 /litre thats real inflation

yes i saw that too,, but in old yellows post,, re, barrel of oil,, i thought i had mis-heard that,, but its right enough,, i did here right   looks like were being done

 

the price of feeding always seems to go up,, for any reason

the fav. one is, "they had a bad harvest" but it never went down when they had a" good harvest ",, i would imagine  when  the petrol prices go up, so will the feeding,, ,,worse luck ,,

looks like the birds wount be getting much training this season what with being on short time

and losing up to £60 aweek in pay there is not much to smile about at the moment .

Fuel price will hit record high

 

 

Petrol is due to reach an average price of £1.20 per litre, says the AA. Some forecourts in London have already hit the £1.20 mark, with others nationwide set to follow shortly.

 

The rise comes because the wholesale price of petrol has increased consistently since the turn of the year. A planned rise in tax on petrol of 3p per litre is due to come into force on 1st April too, as the Government tries to raise more revenue during the recession.

 

The price of a barrel of oil has risen by almost a fifth since January. However, because this increase was not passed on to the consumer all at once, forecourt prices will continue to rise.

 

As usual, suppliers are being accused of raising prices far quicker than they lower them. The last time petrol was close to £1.20 per litre - during summer 2008 - the price of a barrel of oil was nearly $150. At present it's around $80.

 

According to the AA, the average family now spends £52 per month more on fuel than it did this time last year.

Now you know why us poor Couriers arn't millionaires  

We have been paying £1.20 in some areas for a while and the Motorway services are a right rip off.

Our Diesel bill is frightening some weeks !!!

last time it went up in 2008 i got rid of car and got a bike. still got bike .go work every day on it. if i need a car have to be nice to wife.

I think I will be off to the garage with jerry cans 112.9 at an Esso I go past and thats for diesel
