alec guinness Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 yes same with me plenty of short tosses in different directions, would say had about 20 tosses up too 25mls.
john@formula 1 lofts Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Not many for me at the moment 7 or 8 most of which were short spins a few weeks ago, but did jump them upto 40 mile yesterday and they come ok. I just can not get motivated with the birds at moment, there is to much other sh*t going on with work, home life and to top it all arguments in my club, other then the 3 races i missed last year due to moving house, last week was the first time i have not sent in 8 years. John

peterpau Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 FEW just one missing now. is it normal for young birds to go off for nearly 3 hours? Probably not normal. It would say to me your birds are in bloody good nick and they need more than 5 mile. 10 mile min and let 'em run. Nice one. I used to go 40/50/60 mile but I just let 'em run and train 'em 10 mile cos they only need the last bit.
peterpau Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Mine have had 5 chucks all at 10 mile then they will go Newbury on Saturday.
