Returns on Sat 3rd May2008 Lanarkshire

How are the returns in your area.Lanarkshire as you know lib : --8.45am into South East wind and we timed @ 10.29am.Our 2nd bird is timed at 11.02 am and we have only 8 out 70.For some reason the doos have not cleared  the race point or have they been hit with the hawks. :( Lets see what the race controllers report comes up with.

East of Scotland lib 8.20 at Northallerton approx 126mls South wind. I,m in at 10.36 and 16/16 home. Mate in at 10.32

I hope you get more home mate, thats not a lot out of 70 :o , always interesting to here from the race controller though.

6 home from 16 so far timed at 11.03 (club winner is at 10.29) 120 pigeons away from the bing at our lofts and the 1st pigeon is half an hour after the winner

Dont think you can put too much blame onto the race controller as we all knew there would be losses down the west route.

Up till now I have 29 home out 32, got 3 together at 10-43 and then another 3 at 11-10 and they have been coming home steadily  afterwards

I experienced a "Funny" race today with the Amal from Frome .  I have been up with the leaders for the first three races, Yet , today, (and I fancied them) from Frome, second birds are almost 20 minutes behind the first timers. in some lofts, I didn't get one out of the early batch, but got half a dozen together, looks like I'll be 20 minutes behind at least. Yet my "donkeys" are still beating the mile a minute.  Strange race indeed!

8/10 for me the birds seemed to have went past most of the late ones coming from the north

our club winner 10.21 billy reid 20 mins in front of the second placed birds(3) of jim hannah

billy win the west section last week think he might go close again this week

i timed at 10.51 then another 35 mins later

 

three races down the west not looking to good so far

the bird seem to make it home in race time but the back markers are finding it hard

another funny race for lanarkshire i have 24 home from 27 sent the  birds are defenetly going to get in shape with the time on the wing some are getting i think the hawks are doing the damage on this west route well done to the  winner in our club burnbank w reid at 10.21

Won the club at 10.25, waited !! wait for it 51 mins from a race from 98 miles for my second pigeon, isn't the west route just wonderful. Returns are 60 from 78 but still coming well after a tricky start, 10 of these pigeons are latebreds so should be the making of some good ones.

Carluke is win at 10.22. I am 1hour 42mins behind i had 2 at the 12.04 and 2 at 13.02. I got my last one at   4.50. I have 5 out of 5. My Dad is in at 11.04,11.26,11.32,11.34 and 11.50 and he has 6 to came yet 24 out of 30. I had 4 latebreeds away.

You must have thought you were going to get a race when you sent 12 or else why send them ?
