jonny Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 28 from 31 peterborough to sunderland 17th ,winners doing 1800s
PigeonTracker Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Personally, a bit of a disaster for me from Wakefield Open 185 miles, only 1 at clocks, 5/10 at nightfall. No5 @ 7pm brought 3 strays with him; 2 Renfrew and 1 Lanarkshire (fed & watered for night, they are pretty well flown-out). Weather not too clever for working back tomorrow. Rest of Fed 50% and better at clocks. Make another post your on 666 at the time of reply, perhaps your luck will change then.

peterpau Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 we have had a bad race 8 members sent to whitley bay 178 mls 1/3, 1/11. 1/15, 1/14, 2/13, 0/5, 20/46 16/33 winner doing 1026ypm and only got the one. 42/140 bad very bad You weren't the only ones. I am 49th BBC Lamballe but got 1 from 6 and 1 from 2 out of Taunton. The BBC had just 110 birds verified from 1300. Tough day for many I think.
Diydave Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 peter, heres what happened to one bbc lamballe pigeon yesterday !!! my neighbour got it in around 5pm here in south cheshire, it was from southhampton, so instead of doing 170 miles it did 350 !!!
Guest milkyal Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 wouldnt have thought it was best of days especially for ybs and going by the returns it wasnt perhaps they looked at today being even worse and thought they better get them up :-/ Could not agree with you more Rose, we got the NRCC next week and WE ALWAYS get a lib the week before the NRCC no matter what the weather. They could have brought ours back to a 100 mile race and we would have been alot happier and maybe had birds for next week. Would not be surprised to see only 2000 birds go to NRCC where in 2006 it was 3000+
Guest milkyal Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Very misty here but birds dropping in up to 8/13
