Guest Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 start with 80 wont end with 80 thats for sure flying into derry longest yb race is around there 280 290 miles mark What race point is that to you Pearse? I'll have max of 25, how far they go depends on how far we can get them in the club.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Around about 65, will probably only get them to 90 miles as that is as far as the Lanarkshire fed race too. > > > >

terry mccarthy Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 70 ybs raced to 230 miles unless any opens to dunbar which will be about 340
Guest bigda Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 ill have 50 for racing but will not get any further than otterburn as that's when the money runs out who in this day an age expects there fed to survive at £17.50 for 50 birds toss at 85 mile is that not a joke and the best bit about it is they cant see why its happening every year they get less distance from the same money it has been for a age 35p per bird come on who"s having a laugh :X ;D

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Liz and myself have 30 to race and some will hopefully go to the last race which is well over 200 miles to us, we start at 100 miles for the first race but nothing can be written in stone with young bird racing so it will all depend on how things go.
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Around about 65, will probably only get them to 90 miles as that is as far as the Lanarkshire fed race too. > > > > ;D ;D ;D ;D
