I have found some stuff on ebay Doxy Plus. RESPIRAL VET 100 gr. High Quality Antibiotic For Racing Pigeons

 

INDICATIONS

 

• Ornithosis

• Mycoplasmosis

• Respiratory problems

• Chronic respiratory problems

• General bacterial infections

• Diarrhoeas

• Salmonellosis

 

COMPOSITION

 

• Enrofloxacine 20 mg.

• Amoxicillin 100 mp

• Excipient 1 g

 

 

DOSAGE

 

•  5-10 ml. per liter of drinking water (7 days)

 

Is this the stuff I need for a respiratory infection

This is Baytril x Amoxicillin, much too harsh a treatment against respiratory!

Yeah I agree but you aint seen my birds. they cant even eat properly as all there necks are swollen. treated for canker and now gonna try this stuff

 

i would see a vet asap rather than blind treating mate

been to see one said they had canker and slight respiratory but only gave me canker pills and charged me a fortune for that cant afford to go back again so not really  treating blind as such

Whereabouts are you? There may be a fancier on here local to you that could have a look at your pigeons

for resp infections...best on the market in my opinion.

 

mixture of tetracycline and tylan.

Its Doxycycline and Tylan to be more specific.

 

yes ..doxy is a tetracycline..or should say a member of tetracyclines.
