Guest JonesyBhoy Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 There is loads.. Janssen or Staf Van Reets at the sprint.. Busscharet at all round.. and maybe Kirkpatricks or Jan Aarden at the distance.. Familys in the main are a lot of non sense tho.. winners count.. or more importantly breeders of winners.. regardless of a name..

You are exactly right, A name is a name, what is certain is they all came from the 'rock dove' but through selection and breeding and giving them a name we now have strains. i cant think of any other creature where there is a breeder who gives a name to the same breed. you get lots of different types of pigeon, ie tipplers, rollers etc but all racing pigeons are pretty much identical in shape etc but are given names by the breeders. etc.
Guest stb- Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 i would put rene biozard as the best family of breeding and racing pigeons of all time at 400 / 500 /600 /to700miles whats yours louella used to sell them walter but thats going back a year or 2 now ;D ;D ;D or decade or 2 ;D
