i was at Johns place last  year with a mate i took him there John has split them into three familys his little black          plutos reds/mealeys and his crayons family they where as good as they where over 30 year ago  he had over 80 dirrect and is a master breeder

i would recomend johns bushys to any one  first class

This has been an excellent thread, maybe some other fancier could put up another strain that has stood the test of time and encourage the same camaraderie that this one has

i have a busschaerts hen thats won 6 1sts she topped the fed from 353 mile in a north west wind by 40 minutes she is from the tele-savalas lines anyone any info on this line .

i remember the pigeon he was purchased by masserella i think the guy who raced him lived in lancanshire but not positive but will find out but none the less thats a cracking hen

probably, never got the credit he deserved,because some fanciers to make money, after sucess with his family  would credit them as ther own so no one would go to the source.        does happen although  i always give the credit to the breeder

Robbie when Paul seen your hens he told me they where cracking he said they where one if not the best team of hens he had seen  and Paul knows a doo so much so that i would  let him select for me  any time

his health is not the best but he is a good fancier and yes he is a character ask him to select

for you and you wont go far wrong

I think the pigeon Tele Savalas was raced by Alan Atkinson of North Wales and bougnt by Louella..

I think a guy called Geoff Reynolds wrote about him in his column in the BHW weekly.

This is the same area as Derek Jones.
