a very good bird , but at todays vellocitys could be a few hidden gems about birds up north could be clocked in an hour or more from now and still beat it and remember the last race when the birds came out the woodwork after we thought budgie had won it

is he ok with releasing at race point or will I tell the driver its being collected

3 back now dougie the problem is they had lost around 1600 by about 70 miles and do every year they started the 1st trainer after activating with 2159 birds but lost a lot before activation as well I think it was last year they had lost over 1000 by the 40 mile stage

most are c9 but some are cd

this was around 18 years ago the club got new systems only saying a bit off when your issued 30 with each system which you cant use

what happens if your say 6 rings short and I give you 6 of mine every year there 1s a bird or 2 at marking whos ring has failed anyone who has a spare in their pocket hands it over so the bird can get marked

clubs buy them from shu in batches of say 1000 then issue to members , your loft number goes on the ring when its allocated through your own clock , I think its an unworkable rule as when you buy a system you get 30 rings with it what are you supposed to do , discard the rings and cost yourself £45 to buy replacements through the shu ?

the fact that all animals have to be checked by a vet before crossing into another part of Europe will be the biggest hurdle , nothing to do with Brexit its a European directive and includes any animal crossing from france to germany Belgium to france, uk to france , uk to Belgium etc etc ,
