dont use a dremil or a hacksaw blade-----------use a pair of pliers to nip the plastic and crack it allowing the plastic to be removed then useing a pair of nail clippers nibble at the edge of the ring slowly tearing it apart with the nail cutters -never failed and no bleeding after i get the ring off.

Think this is going to be a load of C O C K and BULL

ken like the c/wh/flight in the second picture ---looks great
-
just a full champ system with 20 rings 400quid plus postage

got two off frans and dirk in 2009 the year the nehu would not let us race with the all plastic rings so both kept for stock. was surprised to score at the channel with a yearling hen off this pair 2nd club 2nd fed .so they fly more than just sprint.

would like to get a couple off willy jacobs direct if i get across in the car definately trip to patrick lismont at tinnen[spelling] maybe dennis dillen and trip to see frans and derk marris itegem. when talking to jacquiline [willys wife] she says he has had a good season[and he is no spring chicken]with a reduced team he is still making his mark.

just to let people know how the sale went on saturday--well the turnout for the sale was poor so maybe there just isnt the money to spare or maybe the cost of corn has led to men saying that they arnt going to keep as many and arnt looking to buy stock birds. i didnt attend myself but two mates went to have a gander both not needing any more birds and yes you have itthey couldnt stop themselves and between them bought 6 for under 200 pounds, think they said 180 for the 6, went to sale today and some birds didnt get a 20 pound bid -------SIGN OF THE TIMES how many are going to keep less for 2014 and how many are thinking of an increase in their race team?
-
bought two -hawk had the red one off the loft the other made the race program and went down at our national MAIDSTONE along withde belsers one of van herks and my fed topper from tamara cuester-pigeons that had scored at club and midweek club races at sprint distance. wasnt my best race with poor returns---no birds that went down off that race have returned. started season with 32 finished with 15 young birds --lot better than some worse than others.

well as this season has finished we all start thinking of next year and what birds we are going to breed off next year. for a number of years i have added a few y/birds purchased abroad when going on organised trips as well as a few car trips, but the last two years i have gone with the Darlington trip [gillys trip] and this year the y/bird prices have been emailed to me,and i thought some of you guys might be interested in the prices for 2014,so here is the email got the names of the pigeon men and prices leon witrouwen (herenthout) 35 euros paul wijns (herenthout)35 euro jos heylen(herenthout)35 euro johan van herck(herenthout)35 euro walter verboven(bouwel)35euro victor de belser(berlaar)75 euro johan de belser(berlaar)125euro alfonsbudts(berlaar)40euro frans de coux (berlaar)75 euro eddy belmans (nijlen)35 euro so that gives you idea of prices for next year ---last year birds were available off walter dox and tamara cuester but had to be ordered. last years trip when on loft visits to johan de belsers[his dad victor was there also]then off to walters where the guys that ordered picked their own and also down to our courier for our loft visits johan van herk[great guy] does all the organiseing for us and all the translation--lost without him-also pic of me at lier, well you have to go-and guy you might like to do some research on that sells his birds on lier market--fabien peters. this year instead of loft visits the guys are meeting us at club HQ at herenthot [spelling]and bringing six to eight y/birds each for our perusal.and a buffet so think it will make a change. got some pics on other pc of last years visit will post later. i also stay in touch with Willy Jacobs and his wife Jacquiline and emailed her the list to see what willy thought and will post their relply. Hi Terry , Thanks for your mail,it is interested to now what they ask for young birds, some prices are to much,35 euro is good. Eddy Belmans have verry good birds, johan van Herck and Walter Verboven also. And in Herenthout Rene Lemmens have also verry good birds. Tamara Ceusters we dont now her,we never heard about her where is she live. We hope to see you next year, all the best to Kath and Harry.

bricon systems dont like metal bob wires so next time your at a show get ally ones also while a bird is on the pad clocking a second isnt guaranteed so consider putting the board on a slope so the bird goes over but exits the board for the next one as quick as possible. if someone says they dont miss any rings with their system i would say they are lying-my bricon misses at times and i am getting shot of my unikon system as its worse than my bricon---my mates getting rid of his tauris as it lost him a fed 1st so i put a pad under the drinker so if it misses as the bird goes for a drink it gets a second chance to clock.

my first answer is no but check with mark palmer .my landing boards consist of two areas --magnetic area and reading area but my landing boards are the early type [you carnt put these boards next to each other] so the front of the board with the magnetic field excites the chip and in laymans terms switches it on-so now the chip starts to transmit its code---now the back of the landing board has the reciever on it to send the code to the clock. this is how i understand how the early bricon system works -dont know if this has been improved upon but do contact mark palmer.
