You were obviously as bad at interpretation at the school as most of the rest of the brammers on here. 1) What makes you think I don't have ETS, nothing I have posted on this thread remotely suggests I am against ETS? 2) Barblymark is one of the few if not the only person who has posted on this thread intimating he is/was against ETS for able bodied fanciers. My concern is the pigeons welfare someone who is so badly disabled that he is physically incapable of timing a pigeon in would have to make alternative arrangements for thier care or the welfare of the birds would be compromised - is that clear enough for the hard of reasoning individuals who frequent this forum. Luckily in this case its probably not a problem at all, the forum member in question has posted pictures of himself on another thread and his back looks in a lot better shape than mines is and I manage to clean my birds every single day. As I said in an earlier post if you want to use ETS just say that don't use the Disabled as an excuse, they don't like being used, trust "me" I know!

I'm sure all of those pictures were featured on last months Crime Watch UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If someone is unable to or unconcerned enough to look after the birds properly is my only stipulation and speaking as someone with back and chest problems and with a family member who has a disability I am geart sick of hearing people using "health problems" as an excuse for using ETS. If you ain't got the "sphericals"to say "I am using Ets because I want to" , then really, what is the point?

You can bet your bottom dollar Bruno that the number of salmonella cases in Scotland was miles more than 7. First of all the majority of fanciers whose birds get the disease never go near a vet. Secondly even if they do and get the correct antibiotics it is famously difficult to culture from the infected birds droppings. No positive diagnosis no need to report. As I say the actual number of cases is fantastically higher than the number officially recorded.
