Damp,overcast with light rain in Glasgow

Hope to get some birds back from the first race of the season with the Glasgow Fed who liberated at Dunbar a distance of 61miles to me good luck to everyone who is racing today

Morning all just trying to get 2 youngsters in from yesterday as it was there first venture out of the loft and with the rain they decided to have a night out lol. Today doesn't look being much of a better day

I was dropping off a couple of youngsters for the race and the converted trailer with aviaries is spotless and birds looking well, had a chat with Billy and he is pushing forward for the young bird loft which requires planning permission, the concrete base for the new loft is in place so once he gets his planning permission I am sure the loft will be erected pronto. It is an absolute cracking site and will be a pleasure to watch birds excersising and coming from the races.

I would avoid using aspirin as it has the effect of thinning the blood which causes an issue if there is any bleeding

Can I suggest that you have a look at the Glasgow Fed web site where the results are available going back to 2007 if my memory serves me well, it's good during the long cold winter to look back over past seasons and to see certain names appearing time and time again. It's only a suggestion
