  5. had a look around the loft in daylight and couldn,t find any obvious marks where rats have tried to gain access. will need to just keep an eye out. The traps and bait have still not been touched which makes me think it might have been a squirrel
  6. i will have a look tomorrow to see if there are any tell tale signs of any scaly dirt. i had a look for dropping and there were none about small or large.
  7. the loft was made by Petron and the roof space is enclosed by wire so i suppose it could only be something that is reasonably small
  8. went into the loft on Tuesday to give it a good clean out and noticed some wire lying in the corridor, on checking the wiring system connected to the Bricon ETS System i noticed that all the wiring enclosed above the false ceiling had been cut into numerous pieces. 1 adaptor/ power pack and a 6 field pad were all made useless. I have several mouse traps down under the floor grills and a couple of bags of poison yet no signs or the typical smell of mice. Checked the false ceiling but didn,t notice any droppings. Does anyone have an idea whet did the damage ?

  19. tossing 43 youngsters with Gordon Geddes at sunny chryston, going to livingston for a 25 mile toss should be back for 1200. Weather is Sunny with some cloud
  20. Certainly get them tested as you might find they have a yeast infection . To be honest you need the results of the tests to let you deal with whatever is causing the problem, Is this the first time your youngsters have been like this ?

  22. 44 youngsters twice at 20miles today. first toss at 0720 where they took 40 minutes then the next toss was at 1520 where they took 35 minutes. Glasgow Fed at Kelso this week ( approx 68miles) will wait till next week and hopefully some more training before starting
  23. Its not so much as will the birds adopt the egg as will they be capable of feeding 3 youngsters assuming they all hatch. Mother Nature in her wisdom decided 2 eggs and most birds manage this nicely but look at the difference when a youngster is single reared.
