have you ever noticed when a bird starts to win a few races we all swoon over it not all the nice lookers are winners

I know fanciers who hammer there young bird down the road ? and will only put the ETS on the week of the first race or race them rubbered for the first few races sooner than put Ets rings on ? yet they sit on the tall stool and skull pints all day I know this is there own buisness let me say again anyone who gets any of my birds in and feeds them and lets them on there way feel free to take the ring as you have IMO doneme a good turn regards to all

I agree with Roland on this if my bird goes into another fanciers loft then he is more than welcome to take the ring ? as this lets me know right away that my bird came under presure , had a 5 yr old come back this year who had his ets removed was missing for a week so some decent fancier had done me a great favour and looked after my bird ,, 5 weeks later this same bird came to win the st alustries france race for me when many good birds did not make it home

had one of my birds drop into a very kind Scotch man last year he contacted me and duly kept the bird safe until the Transporte rwas in Scotland he went out of his way to meet the Transporter and duly dropped the bird back also he sent me some beautyfull young birds for free of charge a propper Gent I wont name him as we have become friends and exchange emails thank you my friend (Thompson Hagerty ) hope all the Family are keeping well

all depends on why they are dirty could be feeders or what ever they are eating all depends could be resp is it effecting how they fly around he loft there could be many reasons

I would remove old hen from original loft and leave him in his old loft with new wife you would be surprised at the outcome strange hen strange loft not a good combination IMO

I train my birds after nine o clock pm trying to avoid the BOP I have always traind late evening an found it good,, have had my birds home in the dark on many ocasion ? but it takes time to build up to this type of flying
