i think all of the above are correct but for me when one of my pieds starts chasing the same sex about the loft its definetly a gay pied

paired stock new year then the racers two weeks later [one round then split] everything going to plan had a couple of single hatches witch is quite fortunate for me 45 youngsters in the nest and i only got 40 rings [maths was never my forte ] old birds have only been out once since september so not going to bad apart from the ring situation

just in from the loft checking youngsters in the nests everything going great all big healthy youngsters anyway took this pair out the nest and they were the same ready to put through in about a week i put them back in the nest and the straight away heard a lot of flapping in the nest took the front off and it was dead [in seconds] checked its throat and there is nothing blocking it i never knocked it off anything putting it back in its nestmate is fine although i am afraid to look at it again in case i frighten it to death also. any thoughts
