    Realy Pxxxed Off

Strange one this, I live in the wilds in West Wales and my birds are on open loft, We have every BOP going here yet my losses are small, one this year to Mrs. hawk, They dive for cover umpteen times a day, I think they have just learnt to live with it and the BOP's know they are not an easy target
  4. Dead right mate, quick throw in has to be the same ball
  5. Had them for over 50yrs.just couldn't imagine life without them, unlike most birds is it the fact that they come home when released that attracts us
  6. Could be grim tomorrow
  7. Yes I agree Owen, thats the power of TV,We see replays and can see errors made by referees in both rugby and football but not so easy when you're down at pitch level and if you stopped for a replay of every decision the game would last forever
  8. Dead right mate, very poor officials
  9. Maybe time for a Scottish syndicate, 5 members, a young bird each, about 100/120 Euros each and when time comes to activate other birds perhaps could persuade the wives to buy one
  10. Well done mate, nice to hear some good news
  11. Don't say that, apart from the one red all my stock birds are Dk.Cheqs

  17. How come you can fly reds in Scotland, are you all playing Wagner CD's on full volume
  18. The first red's I've bred for 27yrs.after buying in a red ch.cock for stock,He's paired to a dk. w/f hen so I was hoping for not too many reds, all reds seem to get hawked pretty quickly here, is there anywhere left in the UK that you can fly them?
  19. Pen 5
  20. I think newbies should concentrate on breeding a decent kit of young birds and worry about breaking birds at a later date, you're only making problems for yourself
  21. Wonder if he could have been paired to the same hen for several years, some of us old-timers become very fond of our old dutch
  22. Can't see why he would be sitting on a perch ignoring hens if he was in perfect condition
  23. That sounds a good deal, looking forward to pics. I think Louella are good value they do buy up most of the top birds
