if your birds are being sick at your loft and sitting hunched up , why would you be putting them to a race , birds have to be in top condition before I ever think of putting them to a race short or long distance a bird will tell you if its not wright just bye the way it looks

I would worry if it was young birds not old birds ,they have a better immune system , probably sick because of the travel to the club

IB you ve been lucky leaving your y/birds so late before jagging them , I see what your saying about not having to jag again till they are 2 yo , we did the same till our y/bird picked up pmv from bird we took in . we ll never take that risk again . vaccinate ASAP after they are weaned
