  1. I don't want to prejudice any judging appointment lol. Seriously tho a fret is a badge for me. ...on the 1st to 5th fair enough,it's just a hard day or similar. On the last few maybe something checked the moult, like an illness or a stress, it happens. ...Never like them on the tail as babies....but have had them that have moulTed ok and went on to better things
  2. Yep. Most flights flung in June do a wee look at book and a wee look at flight tells you where and when maximum effort was put in....that's the way it was taught to me others might know better or different but I am gan wae that.....Frets only count against in the show pen
  3. You won't get the special birds mate.....unless. ... you abandon the scrapers, training, medication, it's a tough jib but the winners? Well

  8. Never seen a fret mark on an old bird? Naw Peter surely yer gibbering. .....I must be one of these poor fanciers. ...I get ybs, some of my old birds (especially some of the channel birds) have an odd fret and I believe that my birds become stressed by bop, basketting etc!
  9. Peter.........yer talking P*** lol
  10. How can you treat it? You don't know what it is. You manage it so that secondary infections do get ya. If the person that knows why they DON'T get it......well.....they have the fancy at their mercy
  11. Maybe it's no the good fliers and what they do that's the answer and I agree with you 100% on the mismanagement

If an individual member sent 114 to countance and got heee-haw back it would be all over the pigeon grapevine but it seems to be under the radar
