Ye Robert sometimes too many options can be a pain it seems. We have it too good down here. .. clocks and marking handy in one place with most in 20 miles....rotary clocks struck by one master would have to be done over the phone circa 1980s might be needed to mark central and strike local

I've said before I think the Gold Cup should be 500miles to the central belt.....it gets a few ruffled as they think it's to make it easier in the solway....it's not....just to get the entries and hopefully better returns. A 600mile race should be there for the guys who wish to enter. I have no issue with the inland bats...entry is by choice

I cover the bottom of the troughs every morning. If there is barley left from the mix in the trough the next morning u give them a wee bit less the next day. No need for measures just look at the sh*ite

Which combine is the solway racing with? I think the North Fed's should have a test race from Oslo and we can judge the returns.
