I aint bothered aboot the show Ian but cant remember ever being told at any of the shows that I went to the length and breadth of Britain that my bird had to be flown with a certain organisation!!!

Up at 5.15, fed dogs had brekkie. peeled tatties and sorted veg, put chicken in oven. Went to doos 7amish scraped 4 ends, fed and watered race cocks and hens oot(28 in total). Old boy turned up blethered tae him about a new aviary thats gan up, gave him my ideas for what i wanted then he TELT me wot he was going to do!!!! 9amish washed car and van then took eldest to work. Made brekkie for the rest of the crew. Watched the league goals frae yesterday then had lunch went for a shower now ready for pub!!!! Walter,I admire yer pigeon racing and yer determination for distance racing BUT, you can see yerself by the posts on here that Nantes would send many a fancier running for the bog not the entry form????? In the south 100 members becomes 20 at Nantes!!!! Every year!!! The midday lib is a hard one for anybody in the south, or indeed anywhere but the north,to advocate as it would be very hard to beat anybody north of us with daylight hours compared to clock hours but it wouldnt stop me trying??? The comment on being too sweaty was a real observation of holding birds to midday in France as would be concerns about holding in a good morning for a channel cross for weather to come in later???

Or maybe even earlier than dawn????

Transportation is a must to be looked at, the yb nat is a complete and utter farce and should be west east north kinda thing, the race points over the water aint bad but no sense in moving to reims JMO, Newbury or its like are surely within the reaches of fed racing and I aint 100% on maidstone(race point not the race itself). If ye know when the bird needs to be on its preferred cycle then it should be ok last week of july?? How many times have we had a free week or a 50 mile toss with ybs in glorious sunshine? My biggest gripe is the first inland nat where I think a simple fed race from 200 miles or a combine race is well within the grasp of any fed? The prob is cash and the income that would be lost?? My second biggest gripe is the constant bad press of the transportation? somebody needs to take charge and sort??

Nae Newbury Eastbourne perhaps or if not Clermont then riems then niort then falaise/clermont/ypres(tho would prefer clermont/falaise) Yb nat from anywhere cos dont think i will go again as its pretty mince if ye live west or south! No fussed about the sections as it will no affect the solway anyway!!! Bigger marking station for the south cos its desperate if its a wet night!! but saying that gettin somebody to run it will be a diffo story???

A FOOL SUCH AS I!!!! I have spent hunners on diddys, let stock doos oot that cost thoosans!!!! But I have enjoyed it and have bought some good stock inbetween times and managed to keep them in!! I am always lookin for a wee bit faster sprinter or a wee bit more endurance for the distance, never stop lookin!!!
