What I am trying to ask is that there maybe a certain body shape, size that Owen may go for!! Even if you went to a proven loft full of winners how would you select a yb from them? Your comment about terrific pigeons getting lost or breeding duds is exactly my point! If you read Owens posts you will note that he does not like/prefer unproven stock, thats his prerogative, but as you rightly point out good birds breed poor pigeons sometimes?? Thats what I am trying to find out, there must be a selection process at the very start?

I was trying to point out that if you have a family of pigeons long enough you will be able to tell what type from what line do the buisness racing!! \this is fact and not up for debate.
