  10. Ye not bad Lindsay, Think I am the worst with two to come. Uncle Jim had 19/19 in 35mins? Was just sayin to my old boy that when I was young I remeber we sent 18 to Shap(same distance as today) and we had the 18 in the two massive batches that entered the village!!!!! You just dont get that now??? I have a 2yr old cock that has been to the coast and a yearling hen that has had 4 races as a baby. Bye the way there are LOTS of pigeons sitting about the roofs of Ecclefechan looking rather sorry for themselves!!!

    First Race

    sent 21 wae the water birds at hame, thought they wer magic in the hand but have been gutted before LOL, sound like a bit of a sprinter but love the racing!!! best of luck guys
  15. 150 from 7 members in Ecclefechan appleby 43 miles, pleased to get strarted with better weather. couple of members never went cos not trained. 200 from Lockerbie in same club house which seemed packed????

  19. Ye Rab thats deffo tru. I am hearing some horror stories of training doon here? Whether they are 100% accurate I dont know but no smoke without fire?
  20. The reason folk aint ready is the east wind! Trust me you DO NOT want to train or RACE in an east wind....FACT.An east wind later in the season aint great either but should be a lot warmer?hopefully. You wont do yer birds any favours training in this weather so getting ready is hard but its a choice whether you go or not on sat if weather better and distance ok?
