NAh i aint 100% on Jock being 100% lol. ye not too fussed about gaps with double throws but not too keen on to far thru? No pulling is not really an option but if some of the old tales are to be believed then some might!!!

Would you ever consider pulling a fretted wing flight? Jock Jamieson told me he never bothered looking at wing, others said it was a must for the distance??

I would have thought that the fretted tail, as Rab said, would have not been an issue for long?? If ye catch my drift? certainly not when entering the basket LOL?

After a couple of weeks debating this question with my old boy I would now like to hear your thoughts?? Are they just a medal of honour? Are they a sign of weakness? How many old wifes tales do you know??

Always part mine as soon as they show Lindsay. I like to get them in a basket a soon after that as poss to stop them ranging. Biggest advantage is the obvious widow motivation for race day, no worries of young hens laying and a bit easier(i think) to handle daily. I have a sliding door between two identical ends which I open when the time is right!
