Thanks for your offer Walter, but time is the problem. I have a neighbour whom I am able to call on when required and the kids lend a hand as well. I am too busy ferrying kids to different clubs, etc, so the loft has to take 'back seat'. At least I have structure in place now, after around 5 years planning, so it will continue, at a pace.

Well done all. I am still struggling away with mine. Hope to have it ready for 2015 YB's.

Vinny, I think the reason for this is that whilst we were children for longer than the kids of today, when we watched TV, etc, it was under the often watchful eye of our parents, not alone in our own room. the programmes we watched were not just as far fetched as the ones nowadays and when we were watching the far fetched ones, our parents ever reminded us that they were 'made up'. We would never have dreamt of doing some of the things todays kids do, we had too much common sense.

I always have a small garden display for the kids and grandkids, but it is under my control, so it is safe as can be for them. We also used to go to organised displays.

Heard some of the Janssens had pink wattles and ceres. Also heard of pigeons homing through adverse weather returning with pink ceres, so I would say no. The only safe way is to have tests done.

I think it depends on which vaccine you use. Nobilis recommends 6 weeks and Colombovac 4 weeks, I think. Read the instruction leaflet.

Old Yellow, I think you are correct there, for talking sake, if a blue or chequer doesn't have any white at all and they are inbred for long enough, pieds and whites appear.
