  7. Glad you got him back Peter. He obviously means a lot to you and to save any future heartbreak, put him in the stock loft. By the sound of his name, he is due the retirement and the opportunity to grow old peacefully.
  8. Driver required for the YB season which starts on Friday 22nd July. The candidate must have a licence, preferably clean, to cover towing a trailer. Pick up the trailer at 18.00 on the evening and travel to various locations to collect the pigeons, departing for the race-point between 21.00 and 22.00. After an overnight sleep and liberation on advisement of the Controller and Conveyer, returning back to deliver crates at one location and return to yard. Estimated hours are 18.00 to 12.00.   12. The BOP problem is prevalent now and with no culling allowed numbers are increasing out of control to the cost of other birds. Flyaways can be contributed to overcrowding sometimes. Whilst pigeons enjoy company, if you cannot get a peaceful rest at night or during daily roosting times, then you begin to look elsewhere.

  15. Called it in one. I have red grizzles like this in the loft from time to time. The grizzle masks the cheq, but the bars come through making it look like a mealy. In mine, some blue comes through as they age.
