    Ayrshire North Road Federation, Lerwick Open Race 25th June 2016. Marking in the Thack Inn, 2 Galston Road, Hurlford, KA1 5HG on Wednesday 22nd June 2016 at 19.00. until 20.00. Entry £2-50 per pigeon. Pools £5 for 3 pigeons, first pooled pigeon timed takes all. Manual Clocks - must be a dedicated clock for this race. A separate clock for the Federation Race being held on the same day. ETS Clocks - Available systems are Benzing G2 and Unikon Champ 500. All other systems must be supplied by the fancier.

    Most loft whites are lime based, but there are several types of lime, some burn. Can't help as to which is which. Respiro Sans Dry is available from Phil Gardner, don't think I am allowed to post his contact, but if you PM, I'll give it to you.

    There is a difference between inch squared and square inches. 60 sq in could be 6" x 10". Nevertheless, using these parameters as guidelines, ANRF are overpopulating their crates very slightly, even though to the eye the pigeons have plenty of room. Referring to other comments in regard to water availability, ANRF have 34 points of water access and I feel this has made a great difference to the condition of our pigeons. We were putting 22 pigeons in a crate, but will reduce it to 19 maximum.

    ANRF is 22 - 25 in a crate. Most times only the 22 or less and we are only sprinting.
