  2. There seems to be a great deal of reticence by authorities in this country when it comes to dealing with pigeon related theft.

  7. I have used both and not noticed any difference. Nobivac is oil based and therefore thicker, especially in the cold weather, making it slightly harder to use. It also has nastier side effects if accidently jabbed into yourself. My preference is Colombovac, but it can be hard to get sometimes.

  21. Very noticeable participation by the ladies in those days, something which is neglected nowadays. In those days the men worked and enjoyed their hobbies whilst the women held the household together. This has changed with a more equal spread of family duties which restricts the menfolk from their pursuits. Perhaps encouraging the women to attend would give the men a little more release and freedom to take up pigeons.
