    Joke

I was sitting at my computer the other day drafting my will and I called out to my wife, "WHEN I DIE I'M GOING TO LEAVE EVERYTHING TO YOU, LOVE!" SHE SHOUTED BACK "YOU ALREADY DO, YOU LAZY *expletive removed*!!"

    Joke

Martha recently lost her husband. She had him cremated and brought his ashes home. Picking up the urn that he was in, she poured him out on the patio table. Then, while tracing her fingers in the ashes, she started talking to him.... "You know that dishwasher you promised me? I bought it with the insurance money!" She paused for a minute tracing her fingers in the ashes then said, "Remember that car you promised me? Well, I also bought it with the insurance money!" Again, she paused for a few minutes and while tracing her fingers in the ashes she said, "Remember that diamond ring you promised me? Bought it too, with the insurance money!" Finally, still tracing her fingers in the ashes, she said, "Remember that blow job I promised you?" "Well, here it comes."

  6. Your........trotting...........cantering............galloping are poor........... you need to work on your gait!
  7. Add vinegar to the water which helps suspend antibiotics.
  8. Rearing during winter months: every time you feed change the water which should be given tepid otherwise youngsters will use up vital calories getting their bodies back up to temperature instead of channelling those calories into growth.
  9. I'll second that.
  10. I don't think a scrapper, 6 nest bowls & a wicker basket count son
  11. is out & mild with it.
  12. I wouldn't say that its wholly the problem but a part of it. The inside of the loft should be able to breath so to speak. The only surface as it stands that is able to breath (absorb moisture) is the floor. I would recommend putting a thin layer of ply on the internal walls & ceiling of your loft.
  13. Use a good layer of Easibed on the loft floor. Is the inside of your loft painted?

    Candida

garlic in the drinker will help prevent Candida as will cease treating blind with antibiotics. A harsh cure is 1/4 teaspoon (1.2mls) of copper sulphate to 4 pints of drinking water for 4 days, this takes the shine right of the pigeons so wouldn't recommend treatment during racing/breeding/moulting.

Argghhh! I hate opening a pack of biscuits to find they're all broken.
  20. A thing I've been doing for the last couple of years is not splitting the stock birds up. Instead of removing just the hens to another section I move all stock over into a different section keeping them together = one less section to feed & water. The section has V perches & slope back perches, no boxes or ledges for them to build nests in/on. I might get the odd hen lay but its just the odd one. Come pairing time I move them back over into the stock loft and they go down on eggs no problem.
  21. Nowt wrong with Easibed Andy. I have it down in my y/bird & w/hood lofts but not for time saving. I find the pigeons are a lot more happier in this type of environment.
  22. Re Vic, I believe he passed away earlier this year http://www.pigeon-chat.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=120325&hilit=Vic&sid=1cb1ad97b1c941d762edccd60e4085aa
  23. IMO if yearlings are to be raced on w/hood they must be raced as babies.
  24. Germany for the longer races............. a much fairer route IMO.
