  1. Just an oddity, I was once 2nd club but joint 1st Fed. Strange but true. How?
  2. Try blocking off 50% of the vents at the back. What you need to achieve is for fresh air to enter through the vents at the front of your loft. The way your loft is set up is on a day with no wind air will exit from the front top, it's being encouraged to do so by your false ceiling covering the back portion of your loft also the highest point being at the front. Warm air will rise carrying the stale air with it and left to its own devices will exit from the highest point. Its going to be a job and a half to resolve this issue and my guess is the amount of pigeons you house will be the deciding factor.
  3. It was a sell out.......... but a good part of them were in the hospitality lounge watching the rugby
  4. Just a thought, if England had the support of Sepp Blatter we'd have 13 points out of a possible 12
  5. 12 points out of a possible 12. Job done.
  6. I wonder if a legal challenge could give Eagle Owls immunity against persecution from the RSPB. It seems the Friends of the Earth have all but won a case re non-native Beavers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-30043619

  12. I don't think it'll go to a points decision for sure
  13. We'll go with a ballpark figure of 3000 for the minute. Chad informs us that 15 tickets are awarded per race thus the Lanarkshire Fed on average award 1 ticket per every 200 pigeons entered, 15x200= 3000 If every Fed were to follow this formula just how hard would it be to win a Fed ticket! (which is how it should be) Its impossible to make comparisons the way things stand at the minute with different Feds awarding different amount of tickets per race, if we all sang of the same song sheet it would be a different story.
  14. What is the average birdage in the Lanarkshire Fed?
  15. I agree but my guess is the government have done a bit of number crunching and it tops up that they'll get more nicks this way = more coffers in the screw the motorist fund.
  16. How much harder was it to get a Fed ticket with 10,000 birds entered ? Which is my point. With diminishing birdage and offering the same amount of tickets of yesteryear in my eyes devalues what winning a fed ticket is all about. It is often the case I end up with more Fed tickets than club tickets, surely this cannot be right. (in my case club awards tickets for first 6, Fed awards Tickets for the first 20) Under what I suggest, tickets given out at a rate of 1% of the total Fed birdage: 500 birds = 5 Fed Tickets 1000 = 10 1500 = 15 2300 = 23 Etc.
  17. IMO Feds should award tickets at a rate of 1 ticket per 100 pigeons entered. If this were to be the case you would automatically know a pigeon with ticket/s to its name has beaten 99% of the convoy in said race/s.
  18. The southern softy says its a bit chilly here today.

I had them back in the 80's. Crossed mine with another old strain named Havanith. They'd go through brick walls for you.
