Thanks guys -
Had the same happen last season, the wife said that one of your birds had hit the kitchen window you could make out the full body and wings,I then explained that the birds had not been out when checking it was a feral doo lying dead below the window

Never had any more than 34 maybe 6 late breeds ,had a problem this season with a yearling that was looked after by a non fancier for a week was taken to the fife transporter at Alnwick ,the bird got home ok at 5.25 on the Saturday ,Monday it was all the symptoms of y/bird sickness ,but it was only the yearlings that went down with it,no older birds ,yearlings were never trained or race that season as my intention was to pack in,put the ill yearling in beside the young birds they soon got over y/bird sickness this season
-
Don't know what it is but pigeons pick up anything going never had it when I was 13/14 years old water and a vitamin that was their lot,
-
Thanks I'm still trying to build a team of birds after that ,but it seems to be doo racing,
-
Never seen it before billt but that's what happened,it was the most sole destroying thing that I have ever seen,
-
Forgot to all my birds were done with colomvac
-
About 4 years ago had a problem with the y/birds I can only blame myself as I forgot to vaccinate 1 young bird yes 1, it cost me dearly I ended up disposing of 23 birds went through them like a dose of salts, never knew what it was nor did the vet as he gave me batril ,birds dying in my hands looking at me from some funny positions on the floor never seen it before until I seen one on pmv hope I never ever come over it again as I would get rid of the lot,my Christmas Day that year was spent jagging all the birds again it was sole destroying watching what was happening in front of me
-
