the cost of starting up is a joke for young people , ive just moved location 1,300 for the loft another 1,000 for fixtures inside the loft , and about another 1,000 for odds and sods and im counting myself short sorry no way were going to get new starts in this hobby of ours

ets its had more arguements for and against it, me i had my doubts but this year i bought it and will use it next season when i get it fitted in, ets clocks dont win races its your best birds that do that, i wonder what would have happened if they had brought a new timeing clock out would there have been so much friction in clubs and feds, its only supposed to be a hobby or is it, simple solution to the hole problem is get better birds than your club and fed members and beat then it can be done with a normal clock as we all know.

i think the best breed of pigeons are the ones that are winning for you and no one else, there is no such pure strain of pigeon as most people cross birds in some kind of form,at the momment iv got about 70% peter van den eijden the rest are made up of kirkpatricks, bussartts, van geels catrysse heinz 57 you could say

ian iv not been reading all the posts about avian flu as im sick to the back teeth of hearing about it , me being pure ignorant about it all have we in the uk had any people die from it as yet and have any pigeons been killed/ died from this disease, my way of thinking is if your times up tough sad i know but why keep planting seeds in peoples heads about avian flu if it comes to the uk it comes did we stop foot and mouth in the end we did all that is going to happen is we will need to stop racing or inland only again do we want that ,dont think so ask the national boys, as for me i know its a serious subject but lets stop planting the seeds in peoples heads it dont take much to start an epidemic sorry mate billy

ive only had 3 races with my young birds this season started with 28 and lost more than half after 3 races 12 left, whats stopping theses birds coming home ,radio active waves in the sky; if so whey do other pigeons make it home on race time ,hawks well we will always get them, darkness young birds iv only raced 2 seasons on it and i can say its been my worst 2 seasons regarding returns maybe im breeding rubbish but i dont think so , this season i was more than confident with my team of young birds but they feel by the way side ,im getting them them home now 3 weeks later , reported in dornoch 200miles north of me and yorkshire 150 south of me ,i would like to say that in my club im not the only 0ne ,anyone got any ideas to what is happening with our youngbirds surley it cant all be clashing thanks billy
