Try putting some bits of charcoal down the throat of the other poorly one, it will help to soak up any poison in the birds crop no matter what sort it is. Check with the wife to see if she may have put anything down for her plants as I know from experience women are good at things like that.

Are you sure there haven't been any slug pellets or fertilisers Etc. put down on that spot first?

Its a combination of the two, I rotate my pairs reguarly and some pairings work while others dont, yet when a pairing that didnt work gets changed they can both produce excelent racers with different partners. Blood also matters and the Apple never falls far from the tree, line breeding of a good family of pigeons is in my eyes essential for continued success as it will always increase the % of winning birds over crosses in the long term.

Well its a crying shame if it didnt I thought it was a magnificent amount to have raised and a lot different way of doing it from wear what you like and silly hair cuts Etc. Better luck next time then on that score I say. 10/10 to the organisers on a great job done and to all the people who unselfishly donated such good birds. A BIG PAT ON THE BACK TO PIGEON RACING!

If you have treated them for everything the original problem may have been cured but the good natural bacteria may have suffered so try some live yoghurt or strike, flightpath Etc either in the water or on the corn. Hope this is of some help. Mark.
