Well done folks a stiff een right enough. Was a fresh nor east wind at fraserburgh most of morning and early afternoon. Wind backed round into south east sometime after 3pm .

I noticed that miles flown where in excess of measured distance .Can probably be said that most races flown are well in excess of measured distance . Hence birds taking all day to home from a relatively short distance. Of course some will wait it out if danger is sighted .For nearly a hour if need be .A very interesting article.

That's a good bit of distance between buckie morayshire and Aberdeen. The fear factor must surely play a big part in racing or be it flying around the hoose!
