  9. very smart they are josh, where did you see the pictures? look like they would be good for widow hens
  10. Another example was a few years ago i paid out big money for two pairs of birds from a top fancier anyway after 2 years they had bred nothing for me , i got talking to a big mate of mine who was interested in this strain and was looking to buy some in i told him he could have the two pair for nothing so he came and had them end result they have bred him 4 fed toppers ! he takes mickey out of me all time over them but again you pays your money you take your chance,
  11. Both mate i have been lucky and had really good racers and breeders in my loft that have been gift birds, some years ago i had the misfortune to have a stoat get in and kill a dozen hens anyway an old boy gifted me some hens so i could race cocks on widowhood 2 of those hens bred me very good birds that won several channel races, through friends in the sport i have exchanged birds with over the years and fanciers have done very well with my birds so it proves that you dont have to spend big money to gain success
  12. thats what the sport should be about helping each other and as my old mate says what goes round comes round in other words you reap what you sow
  13. i have found over the years my very best birds have been gift birds not ones that have cost me afortune
  14. Josh who says parastop does not work and why? i think if you use the genuine article not something in a brown bottle with a label on it you should be ok its stood the test of time
  15. same here mate i would have it sorted out without police assistance, whats the country coming to? maybe our wonderful leaders will give up their second homes(paid for by us) to these squatters if its yhought to be the done thing to let people from other countries steal our home and ignore our laws

  17. No probs Roland i would do same for anyone, if anyone ever needs birds picking up within 25 miles of Coventry i will sort it for them as i have staff working all over the area and will get them to pick bird up and bring to me, its nice to get a thankyou as well all best Stan

  23. i have used the milk powder on corn for as long as i can remember and my youngsters always look well on it so see no reason to change if you read whats in it you can see why it benifits them and as for cost its not that expensive compared to a lot of so called pigeon supplements, i also use it once a week all year on corn for ybs ask anyone whose seen my birds they always look well and droppings are like marbles
  24. i use ets because it suits me but am not able to use it in one club for several reasons which i wont go into but it still did not stop me topping fed on a fast race and being shortest flier as someone else said it dont make the birds any quicker given the choice i would choose ets every time
