I contacted Murray's late last year, and due to the death of one of the brothers, I was assured they would not be selling any more youngsters. Strange.

Is it possible for you to exercise your birds later in the day? I always flew mine in the afternoon (or evening in the summer) and in all honesty, never suffered a hawk attack, while everyone else in the area had problems. I don't know if I'm right, but it was my belief, by the time I had my birds out, the hawks had taken their food for the day.

Sympathise with you on your loss Vinnie. But it's as you say they are all one of a kind. Have had dogs since I was 8 years old. Can remember most of them and the little peculiarities each and every one of them had.....always makes me smile. Have got 6 dogs at present and they are all loved dearly. My dog is my best friend...it hears all, yet says nothing, merely looking at me in an understanding and knowing way. Well folks, after being un-employed for exactly a year, good times are hard to come by, but this morning, everything was made right when I became a Grandfather for the first time. :'( :'( A baby girl, Sophie, born this morning at 6.43am weighing in at 8lbs 1oz. Mother and baby are fine. Will be taking a 'bit of a run' at the Poteen tonght to 'wet the baby's head'. Sincerly and overjoyed Grandad Paul. ;D ;D
