Good looking loft. Bit of advice......get another couple of roof rafters, and get them in level with the sides. Would stop the roof from dropping at each end over time.

I got mine from a club mate who worked in a creamery. Originally they contained frozen concentrated orange juice. This was about 25 years ago, and I'm still using them. Very durable, heavy plastic with lift off lid. Not sure of size, but each bin holds 2 x 25kg of mixture. Same bin still available locally (2nd hand) cost approx. £6-£8. Have one in each loft so I can feed different mixtures within each loft, and have a few more in workshop to store conditioning seed etc. Was actually thinking of getting a few more to store our wild bird seeds in.

There-in lies the secret !!

Nothing happens ! All they do is stand taller on the perch LOL !! If you've got droppings that tall on the perch there's something adrift with your ventilation.

Keeping a loft spotless guarantees........ nothing. Cleaning a drinker regularly guarantees........nothing.

After the success of the 'Classic' there seemed to be an interest in a winter league, with quite a few members expressing a willingness to be involved. I was pleased to hear this, so have picked out and pencilled in a few trophies to present. Whilst the Leagues' conclusion would not be reached until early 2017, I wanted to get these purchased ASAP. I like to be prepared !! I was just wondering if anything had become of the idea, so I at least can get the trophies finalised. Thanks guys.
