Hi does anybody on this forum race the old camphuis janssens and if they do , 1 do they win with them 2 and at what level do they win with them just of interest has i have the old lines of camphuis and just to see if anyone else flyes them with success.

if your birds are good enouth they will beat 10,000 in a race,a small team flyer( a good one ) will beat the big boys 8-10 times,you can concentrate on them better,they will split and get away from the pack,ive sent 1-2 pigeons on many occasions and have been 1st & 2nd on most occasions plus having the big flyers giving up halfway through the season because they carnt win with a small team,good luck 2007

sootjens made a very good inpact at sprinting,i havnt seen anybody really winning out in front with the roland janssens yet,only john mellor and hes gone into selling now,think hes seen pound signs.

Well said ronnie,and agree,ive been looking at top class winners and breeders on the internet on pigeonparadise and its opened my eyes to see how many crosses and good pigeons have gone into making that champion.

give them a quarter of asprin,that will clear them up,if it doesnt give them the other quarter at night.and still if this does not work definatly look at how your ventilation works.hope this helps.les

maybe its just how you prepare them for racing,and good pigeons to do the job.

it must be what they are,and he must have seen somethink good in the breed for him to have them.hes a good pigeon fancier so he must have seen class in the breed.Les

i had the schlephorst jan vanden bosch years ago,the bronze type bred winners easy,big bold pigeons they were even the hens were strong birds,wish i had them now,love the 2 janssens stuart real janssen type real class,its a few years ago since ive seen that type.Les

Ken hunt who raced the champion "boss" what louella bought was bred down from pierson & dransfield busschearts has he was related to them,this cock was a real cracker and had the honour a few time putting him in the basket on race days,this pigeon did really do some damage on saturdays racing in the cas&district fed.what a pigeon.

i used to have a pair of henri van nestis years ago 2 red they were ,didnt think they were still about.

if mine were going for a few hours ,why wait while 2 weeks before the first race when everybody will be at it,getem trained soon as possible and get them there line because if you leave it while everybody else starts they will get split up and you will be waiting all night for them.

ive had this problem for a few years now,ive lost about 5x1sts with youngsters with landing on the house roof,but ive also won races with landing on the roof aswell as 1st combine,dont think you will ever break there habit,but when you start training them they do tend to start landing near the loft rarther then the roof,has yearlings they will land on the roof but will trapp up an a saturday if on widowhood,i wouldnt worry too much about this roof problem has long has they come in with the whistle,or you will end up a nervous wreck andbelting them with somethink heavy,you will only discontent them.hope this helps
