  1. Yes paulo,i like how the red janssen has turned out,what colour has the red hen turned out like,especially with the grizzle running through her.
  2. 30 no more then that,havnt got the room for many more.
  3. this is the first year ime trying it out,didnt really find the bird like it so i put it on the corn with a little oil,then i did see a little more vitality in the older birds,acting like widow cocks,so thats what i do now 3 times a week.

  5. agree theres nothink odd with those colours,if you want to see true yellows then look at the kikpatricks of louellas,those pics are mealys and reds,nothink unusual,ive bred loads over the years.The red fox janssens carry this colour if you keep reds to reds.Les

Had them off there very best in 1997,i had 18 of them drop together in a youngbird open race taking everythink out of the race,wish i still had them,i sold them when i moved house.Try john salt of kimberly notts,think he still has the old stuff,i got a pair off him and they bred winners straight away.Les

  12. Your not the only one who coudnt remember were the badges were has i couldnt get on has i was on night until fri morning,so i also was wondering about in the show hoping to see someone wearing there badge.Was looking forward to wear it too.

  18. i use olive oil ,very sparingly on the corn,really makes there feathers look well,and oil of olay on their face,keeps them looking young,HA HA ;D ;D ;D

The cock first must be use to his box before you pair up,when you do pair up put the hen in and just keep an eye on them just to make sure the cock does not hurt the hen.after a few days i usually start letting them out a pair at a time.doesnt take long before the hen follows the cock back into the box.Les

  21. for vits i use cytacon vitb12 or metatone tonic,for electrolites i use any really as i think they all do the same trick.

Thanks every one,all were nice birds in the show,carl they are related by the bloodlines as the cock is very inbred to the golden red of frederikshof also being a g.son to full brother of rooie appie.The hen is a g.dtr of the 007 james bond of eijerkamps. also direct dtr to the full nest brother to commander bond .cheers everyone
