  1. i breed late breds off my best stock birds and dont train them a all that year,i just let them fly out and mature,i have put some on widowhood year after and won with them also being well up in the combine beating the ones that have raced as youngsters, like mentioned earlier you just have to be a little patient with them and if they are any good they will shine. good luck with them, please let us know how you get on with them during racing.

    RED CELL

ive used red cell for a few years now and find it is best been put on their corn and left for a hour or so as it dries up quickly,i first started putting it in the water but found it gave them watery droppings, but when put on there food they were a lot better and you could tell it worked on them. its a great product and i will always use it.
  3. dont have to be the best pics ray,you can see the class in them. les
  4. you will find everythink you want in b,ridewood.
  5. ill donate a pair of youngsters off my red fox janssens, they have done me proud for years and will do someone else proud.all for a good cause.
  6. 30 ok ,its a bit to many for me but give them some stick al,and try and get the best out of them i wish you luck, the most i have ever had was 24 and i had 2 drop together from 204 miles then 8 more just after them to win 1st 2nd 4th 5th 8th 10th combine with nearly 3000 birds in the race.
  7. i have found breeding from a closae family is better, you get better results in the stock loft also when there raced. i had 12 pigeons drop together from a 47 ml race and all were very closley related.these went on to win many more prizes in there racing careers.
  8. i have had pigeons from l.p.w since 1988,these were the stamvater and sheer elagance line also 2 g.sons off "arjan". i must say that these pigeons were the best i ever had and they won races for fun.the biggest mistake i ever made was letting them go to replace them with sootjens even though they won they wouldnt have kept up with the janssens, i have just got some of my old line back them being 10 years old now but ime very happy with them. nearly every pigeon i have had from l.p.w have been good pigeons, if anybody intent to win fast races i would advise them to go for the old line from there janssens they are great. Best wishes for 2006.
  9. the red feather leg cock is a cracker,i notice it has feather legs, what a beuty, i have some hermans like that, what breed is it ray.
  10. youngsters that fly well at there year of birth dont always fly well year after,i had 2 busscheart cocks both nestmates ther came steady as youngsters and as yearling took a few 1st prizes and later became good breeders,i think its down to knowing ur family of pigeons, sorry enouth a lot of fanciers dont keep them in their loft long enough to find them out. good luck 2006
