Hi A friend of mine found this bird dead under a pilon whilst walking his dog,can anybody tell me who this belongs to.

one of my youngster just coming into land,think its too heavy yet,ha ha

widowmaker i think you are best sticking to what you are doing,i once did the same thing and they seem to loose their form as they wernt exercising hard and as its early still in the season they wont have reached there best yet, ROUTINE WINS RACES MATE

i agree with you stuart,theres a lot of fanciers go over to holland for janssen pigeons and sell youngsters off them for more than they bought there parents for,i have a friend that bought a pigeon from rip off "angel bros" for 250 quid and told him hes got it quit cheap when i saw the pedigree to it i noticed the g.g.sire was the sire to two of my stock birds i own so when you do buy janssen pigeons just think about it before you buy them as there are some sick prices going about for them.

Hi My no1 janssen cock bred by louella in 1988 was a light red cheq cock bred off stamvater and sheer elegance,he had a long frill on his chest when he was cooing it use to part,he was sire of 18x1sts individual prize winners and his blood is still winning today,i also had a honeysuckle lofts janssen hen with a frill and she bred winners aswell,i noticed the ones with frills seem to breed winners and maybe it is due to inbreeding,wish i still had this cock now it broke my heart when he died at 13 years old.

i think gus hofken had a good blue cock called the driebander and it also bred many champion pigeons aswell ?

if it is genetical and is bothering you too much i would put a cross in or get rid.

L.P.W had some of the finest Janssen pigeons i ever saw years ago i bought one of the Stamvater cock and he bred me 18 x 1st prize winners and g.g.sire of winners even today,i must say that every janssen pigeon i have bought for stock from louella has bred winners,i carnt say much about there other breeds as i have not tried them but you have only to read the B.H.W every week and theres loads winning with them so dont pull them down without trying them and just dont blame the birds look at your management first.

agree with you ben,its just a good excuse to involve racing pigeons,if there is so much concern about pigeons catching it then why isnt there a big cull in towns and cities were theres loads of stray pigeons.Just think there taking the p*ss out of us pigeon men.

There was a swan found in germany with the same virus and they usually are in pairs,just a thought but do you think that the swan could have died there and gone adrift ending up at fife already dead spending some time in the water.

there should not be "invitation clubs" and should not be allowed,if a person hasnt done anythink wrong then they should be allowed in any club,winner or no winner,some are just scared to be beaten and thats all its down to.

farmers use to feed tylan to pigs it came in bags and was a powder form antibiotic but it also contained loads of vits,was told it contained steroids aswell to make piglets grow faster for the market.

havnt used g10 pellets yet ,but heard of fanciers having trouble with their birds eating them,plus some have expierienced wet droppings in their youngsters .

Sent a copy a few weeks ago to ponte & cas express never seen it put in yet,and dont think it will,they are really not interested.

i have a karl herman cock with very feathered feet,his legs and feet are full of white feathers although he is a cheg pied,he breeds feather legs aswell.

i carnt shut my doors or they just land on the house roof,i leave it up to them and their health and hope they just want to exercise.but when i flew on the allotments i won a lot more prizes as i shut the doors and they did 1 hour morning and night without fail,they were fit .

speedbird have you bought some of these direct from eijerkamp or are they all off dill morgan from pontefract ? as i have direct children from the full nest brother to "commander bond" them being also grand children to the old 05 brother also g.children to james bond 007.they are good pigeons and they win were ever they go.Good luck 2006

photo shop 6 will get you that sort of image without the box ,takes some working out but you can produce pigeon images like that.
