timbarra i asked a genuin question about what has it bred or what hen was it paired too,ive too had pigeons that have had 10x1st ive had some breed 21x1sts ive bred 1st combine winners, multiple 1st prize winners,bred youngsters that have bred multiple prize winners and g,parents to alot more,ime not boasting but winners do come from strays and theres plenty of them.ive also had pigeons with 7-8x1sts and couldnt breed a pigeon to get home from 5miles, winners are made by accident most of the times usually by nighting out or being lost a few weeks,and also through good breeding aswell and good breeders in which i know a few on here,sorry but your not only the one who houses class on here.

i advertised a g,son from toeys special on here a while ago for a friend who had to cut down for £100 and nobody was interested,good pigeons they are but even the best dont sell sometimes,its true fanciers are getting more sceptic when buying birds.

silly priced though.

i believe the beer was a direct wildy,and berti fletcher did have some of the best,but did you see the size of his lofts,they were huge.

but what about the dam of the 2 youngsters, 1,has she bred winners or even g,dam of winners 2,has she won herself 3,are the 2 you are selling the same quality as the sire. no matter how good the cock is you still need the same quality in the hen and the youngsters you are selling,ime not saying there not the same quality but thats the question nobody seems to ask when buying birds and most will not refund if your not happy with them.Theres a lot of belguim crap turning up in the homing world recently all been bulled up by the auctioneer,and compare them to some pigeons that have flown in this country would have been put in the dustbin.

Hi ive just bought a microscope and wondered if there are any books out there that shows you how to examine pigeon droppings for cocci,canker,worms etc etc.any info would be appreciated,i would rarther test the birds rarther than to treat blindly.

buy the classiest looking hen that looks smart and inteligent,not necesarry the dearest.

Ken davey from pontefract got vics birds ,he bred victor from them i think,topped the combine loads of times including sons aswell,not sure but i think vic has taken victor this year has ken stopped flying this year and is calling it a day now. :-/ anyway top class van reets,

you can also buy closer bred aswell,a little to far away from the best for my eyes
