Not seen it yet. Saw that Ward won. As usual on points.

Two undefeated face off tonight. Ward, I like most believe him to be the best active boxing on the circuit today. This fight in Las Vegas is what boxing dreams are made of, unbeaten vs. unbeaten, champion vs. champion, boxer vs. slugger, two men in their primes at the top of their' chosen professions squaring off for supremacy in one of the sport’s original eight divisions. Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena, 30-0 vs. 30-0-1 drawn, is a battle for the history books surely. Personally I think that Ward has a little too much class for Kovalev... Mind like to see the winner against Gennady Golovkin. Don't particularly like the crap regards Gennady Golovkin not facing any body of mention ... He has destroyed all before him. What else is he meant to do?

Yep I'd go along with that mate. Nothing if not an eye opener is Ad. Simple realism and says as it is.

I love his writings. I see this book is advertised at £25, £59 and even £125! So obviously one needs to search about.

One needs to keep any such Owl location under wraps, for it's own good. The RSPB will actually cull them. Many public blinders used, but they do and will cull them. Though DAFRA STATES that they are legit U.K. natives, especially if bred here or breed here in the UK's shores.

Mine get all the grit that they need in the garden. Mind, I do buy a mineral / grits some times and sprinkle that over the cobbles / slabs for them. Especially the young birds. Helps to keep them calm and contented picking about. Never give it inside the loft now, haven't for years.

Blumming eckers mate. Mind we are lucky that we nigh always have a very small majority council no matter whether Labour or the conning ones. So they need to be good or lose the vote next time round eh!
-
Well I buy about 6 -8 25 bags at a time. Costs about £10 in fuel to do the 90 of miles. Reason being Tic Beans £6 Wheat / Barley etc. £4 etc. So I save a few quiddies eh! The Normal Refuse Bins are handy. Hide yours and go to Council and report lost lol I think there is a wee charge now... But they hold 5 or 6 bags left in bags, I also found like Georgie says B and M bins fine. ... Need at least 3 so I can mix a few 25K bags if and when needed. Mind it also depends on room available. I, again am lucky here.

Is there any need for it? 95% of the public, Scots included no doubt are disgusted with this behaviour. Like wise in the Poland Game / Russia etc. etc. I remember when they tore the goal posts down etc. WHICH led to the 'Home Games' being abandoned. Many will voice excuses, but the reality is there isn't any, regardless what national pride they sadly distort. It came hours after Scottish supporters descended on Trafalgar Square climbing on the iconic lions, swimming in the fountains and littering the landmark with empty beer cans and rubbish. The fans invaded the square hours after the Armistice Day parade to remember those killed in the First World War. Shocked Londoners took to social media to express their disgust. One Twitter user wrote: “To the Scotland 'fans' trashing the remembrance tribute in Trafalgar Square, and the public toilets? You're scum.†Another user said: “This is how Scottish football fans leave Trafalgar Square on #ArmisticeDay. Don't hold your breath for a condemnation from @NicolaSturgeon!†So forth and so on.

Sadly Ian, you have hit the nail on the head with truths. Again Scotland showed their tenacious spirit individually ... BUT fail yet again per nigh normal to play as a team. They have this built in notion to give all, which they do, and think that as they all do the same it must work. If they laid of the ball more and passed etc. ... well...! Same happened to their best squad of recent decades the 1978 - 1982 W.C squad. The great Jock Stein had it right saying 'They won't play with out siders whether Scots or not'! Hence why he moulded a great 'Localised' squad to great success. No two ways about it Scotland has produce some really great players ...Indeed many English sides have used one in the engine room in the middle of the park.

Well I don't see how they can call wearing a Poppy Political, or commercial ... except money Raised BUT then it would be classed as a 'Charity' surely and NOT political! Most wear a 'Poppy as a mark of respect of those fallen in war. Mind I see England have told the FIFA to get Stuffed and that are going a head and WELCOME a court hearing.

I'd say heart attack too.

https://www.bing.com/search?q=Hilary+excapes+jail&FORM=EDGNNC 13 charges that could, and OR SHOULD send her to jail ... but of course will never happen. Indeed make her a president instead lol. Only in America ... or Britain lol Trumps as bad lol. It's scary when you think of either teaming up with Boris 'Karloff; Johnson

Well, am away for a few days to a week or so in morning. Wife and I want to see the autumn in Devon. Then a day or two in Poole Dorset.

Antibiotics kills good bacteria as well as so - called bad! Likewise it is imperative that pigeons carry some canker. There is / are much needed good reasons, indeed for their' own good.

I once, about 5 years years back, had a real problem. - Went nigh 50 miles with sick birds to a Avian Vet ... and paid the price of course. Top man. My birds had yeast bad in system... Then later tests I paid for (fearing salmonella or such asking to check etc.)came back, same but with high percentage of iron. He said I was wasting my money and that they certainly wasn't suffering from Sam or such. Fed just a day the once with damp feed I'd bought to tie me over from Store. Good price4 I don't think. Was Maple peas but I fear out of date... But before I'd went to that vet, I took two pigeons to others vets. Said they knew little ( Golly Honest eh!) but to leave £100 and he'd look up etc. Went to two more vets.... Knew nowt! Mind I did ask awkward questions it seemed. Mostly the answer was 'Leave the birds with a £'s and they would look into it. I should co - coa. The vast majority will look into the appeasing eyes with that smile and leave the dosh etc. feeling better. That they have done the right thing. Mind most will and cure themselves. There was no cure, Nystatin which I had would be too late to treat with. He said he'd doubt any would survive, let alone race. Many did survive. I went back later too him. He said he was amazed, and it proved what a good constitution they must have, and to bring some back, for free, before mating up and he'd test them good etc. Was money wasted? I knew my birds have great constitution. Money wasted? Should I have disposed willy - nilly? Was money wasted? A couple of hundred quid etc. only confirmed much what I knew. Was money wasted? He re - forced what I knew, and also that most vets know very little regards pigeons as they don't have much, if any dealings with pigeons. I know that. Only know One Vet that keeps pigeons and two Medical men etc. Sadly that Avian Vet has now retired. I also know that a doctor takes 4 years to pass out. A vet at least 5! And that is mainly in certain animals and live stock if going to the farmers as a main stay. Now they learn a little for the domestic side. I also realise that they tend to read the remedies that drug companies suggest ... who are of course in the money business. That is fair, they have to be to survive. the Vets across the road from me is highly regarded by the farmers who give them a lot of work. They told me that they knew nothing and as such not to bring pigeons too them. The other vets in Northampton Rd said likewise. Of course pigeons aren't covered by PSD or other charities like dogs and cats etc. So common sense prevails

I don't think it can be over done ( Over Cooked before Big Dave jumps in :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: ) But obviously it would mean treating often unnecessarily. Once a month would be more than ample.
-
Well I just peel hang up. May take another cover off. Originally it was, and most likely better to slice. So Big Dave on the side lol is this time MOST probably right. Well done Big Dave :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Yep Ian. Mind I see not an answer from on here! Now if yb's is so prevalent surely some have taken, and treat on Vet's advice! Be interesting for their inputs.
-
Good to hear mate. Shame some youngster isn't interested in racing them. Straight in any race - up to 200 miles and they'd hold their' own. Ok might not win. A few races and they would go any where with merit. Quite possible win at the distance.

As the fact is actually there is ONLY ONE thing that no longer exist due to man kind's invention! Small pox! ALL other viruses / ailments and such are still prevalent. The worlds most successful vaccine is Polio. Now when man thought it was, like Small Pox, eradicated they stopped vaccinating, Boy oh boy was they wrong. It came back into effect with a vengeance. Now I see on another topic some believe that antibiotics and man's treatment are a must. Alexander Flemings' discovery of penicillin but an example. That in it's self is but a natural mould, one that natives used for certain pacific things … Not much good on a lot now though. Because the Super Bug has grown immune to it and rendered it useless where it once was good FOR certain things. Indeed man's trifling has always had downward spiralling knock on effects and still does. Parva in dogs for a prime example: Mongrels take it in their' stride and have no ill effects whatsoever. Ask a vet! Yet pedigree dogs, injected and treated, still often die from it! Ask a Vet! I think Treatment is a misused happening that causes a lot of the problems further along the line. If not ill WHY treaty!? It is of course vastly different from treating a pigeon that HAS something to be TREATED for. Signs of the times. Treating willy – nilly, as many will this winter for none existing ailments. Attacking their natural constitution. Then having to prop up with money making stuff for what they may well be the culprit in causing. If I have- ANY time of the year cock birds fighting for no more than the sheer hell of it, then they are fighting fit! Like wise hens fighting for the cock birds attention etc. etc. If taking off with arc necks well stretched and clapping I and the birds are happy. Cock birds quickly landing to chase the hens etc. If plumage is shining in sunlight with a glow, then they are happy. Eyes bright and clean feet NO VET can improve them mentally or Physically! Now if huddled up and feathers ruffled I look them over. I monitor them and see if A. They need a Vet---and spending hard earned cash – or B. can a Vet help. If so then I take it along. No I don't separate it! Better the ailment let's me see which – if any others have a weak constitution. One not able to rise above or take whatever it is in their' stride... Invariably most do. Then one needs to look atthe breeding parents and other offspring! Regardless of pills it will only be any good any way for paper bag short windy day races! My birds need to shine and race at ANY distance in any weather on parr with any.- Agreed due to health and work I have had some leniet times over the past few years, BUT am improving health wise and if this continues I WILL be up amongst the leader EVERY week nigh.
