No hurry for me really. Am trying new stock, so must be fair to them.
Sure it's ok to say, as I have done many times and still will in different circumstances 'I have them to fly / race, and they're going'! But pointless to chuck away birds that may well turn out well. After all I bought them to shine! Bought them to do the job! Not for boys to do a man's job, or risky for the sake of a bit of cardboard or sticking chest out at club. Or for the odd slap on the back! No, I bought them in - at great costs some (well to me any way) to improve and get back on the ladder.
Why then in darnation would I send and risk 2 years work, only to have to start again! :-/ :o
There is always another day .... as long as you haven't thrown you birds away I guess. JMO
P.s. Besides it is for these very reasons why they have hardly had a chuck, let alone be fit enough to hold their own.
