    No Cup Baca

Seems that Barcelona may well be walking way with no title or cups this year. Real Madrid under the 'Special One' may have a field day, pardon the pun lol. But still one will hear Best team in the world. Excuses@ For too many games ETC. Well real's players have done the same... Remember well this past world cup when Fatigue was blamed for the so - called England's team poor performance - Really ignorant ego's! ... Kuyt and co, like so many others in the premier league ran their' socks of and showed no ill effects.

Nice to see Maverick back. Was a good reading that!Loverly wright up, and we all wish the youngster every sucess and happiness I'm sure. Didn't read what the Auction was for, mores the pity. But well done Ian,Marlene and all concerned. You make us proud and are a credit to us all, fanciers and public alike. You know, often heard, often said and done, regardless of any publicity the happiness derived from being there, to be able to help etc. Is a blessing and reward enough. Often think that when I hear the odd groans about our sport not being given the creedance we deserve in regard the endless charities and good cuases we support... but I think we all get a good kick out of being able to be there, to help, whether we get any credit or not and seeing the likes of above! 3. Hope it stays the same mate. The most realistic ones at my local suppliers are £9. Same price as a battery charger eh He says that mostly they are bought to protect the chicken feed from other crows etc. I hope like the Owl statues etc. once realised that they don't move they are back to normal. Good luck.
  4. Mind, I have here a collection of documents / theories well tested theories that run into 100's of pages. One thing that is certain is, they / we haven't a clue how they home. We try something and it gives us an inkling in our own minds.... but is very often shot to sunder down the line someway. But it is nice to see and read some...
  5. From Gordon Chambers, via thw Alberta Classic. The following is a hot off the press article that seems to shatter the idea that magnetic iron in the beak of birds like pigeons is present in nerve cells. The authors of this report cut 250,000 thin slices from the beak of pigeons and did not find iron in nerve cells. So it is likely back to research for many investigators to verify or deny this finding! Gord. Scientists have thrown cold water on the theory that iron-rich nerve cells in birds' bills help them navigate using Earth's magnetic field. Researchers from Austria, France, Australia, and England, writing in a new study published in Nature, report that iron-rich cells in the bills of pigeons are in fact specialized white blood cells called macrophages. Macrophages play a vital role in defending against infection and recycling iron from red blood cells, but they're unlikely to be involved in magnetic sensing, the scientists say. That's because they are not excitable cells and cannot produce electrical signals that could be registered by neurons and therefore influence a bird's behavior. The finding overturns a theory that has stood for more than a decade. Past studies, including a 2000 paper from the journal Biometals and this 2007 report from PLoS One, claimed that magnetite in beak tissue helps birds navigate. We described birds' reliance on the magnetic field in past articles in BirdWatching/Birder's World. In "Amazing Birds" in our April issue, for example, Founding Editor Eldon Greij wrote that magnetite in birds' bills helps them process information from the magnetic field. And Paul Kerlinger wrote in "On the Move" about birds' abilities to sense the magnetic field and magnetite's role in Bobolink migration. "The mystery of how animals detect magnetic fields has just got more mysterious," said study leader David Keays of the Institute of Molecular Pathology in Vienna. "We had hoped to find magnetic nerve cells, but unexpectedly we found thousands of macrophages, each filled with tiny balls of iron." High-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of pigeons' beaks allowed the researchers to find the balls of iron instead of magnetic neurons. (Researchers who investigate birds' navigational abilities often study pigeons because their magnetic sensing systems are common among other species.) "Our work necessitates a renewed search for the true magnetite-dependent magnetoreceptor in birds," the scientists write. Perhaps the answer will come from fish. The researchers conclude their paper by saying the undiscovered cells that govern magnetic sensation "may reside in the olfactory epithelium, a sensory structure that has been implicated in magnetoreception in the rainbow trout."

    The Truth

Well his country was in fact rated to be in the Top five to live in worldwide. Just prior to the onslaught, we, like many more were bending over backwards to please him, for him and us to be 'Friends'. Indeed the Chameleon changed his colours three times in less than three moneths.

    The Truth

Read and watch. Lybia was one of the best countries in the world to live. FAR far better than 95% of the world. Fact. A country that actually loved it's leader. No food shortages or poverty. Interest free loans available etc. if needed for the PEOPLE... buisnesess es paid a very small interests. And Gas - electric / oil heating etc. FREE! What more did they want? Well nothing actually, BUT we and the USA did. Here are many such sites telling the truth ... and to see the Chameleon spouting that it is intolerable, and HAS to be stop the way goverments treat their subjects... just look at Syria etc. etc. Take a deckers of reality and truth. Changed the sites adie as they wom't work, try these. Try these. First two short versions, but the last one is a indepth. Just look at the deceit of the so - called -leaders. But this one also summs it up. Happy seeking of the truth. MONEY and POWEWR have, and always will be nearly the real reasons of WARS. From the wealth gained and made in the First two wars, before, and after.

  15. Well, I have a open mind here. Whatever the why's and wherefores are, I just hope - if there is any truth in this story, that those concern are acting sensibly and not allowing any other birds near them... lET ALONE SENDING ANY BIRDS TRAINING - MAY GET LOST, OR RACING ETC. Ofcourse any selling on etc. must be taboo at present till if and when there is anything to be resolved has been dealt with. JMO I well remember the palaver when the Belgium goverment - Not so long back - had to take strong measures, even court action etc. when they were over using the drugs etc. and exporting. This was of course to clear the matter up to enable their reputations, and any further exports.
  16. The Talking Centipede A single guy decided life would be more fun if he had a pet. So he went to the pet store and told the owner that he wanted to buy an unusual pet. After some discussion, he finally bought a talking centipede, (A 100-legged bug),which came in a little white box to use for his house. He took the box back home, found a good spot for the box and decided he would start off by taking his new pet to church with him. So he asked the centipede in the box,'Would you like to go to church with me today? We will have a good time." But there was no answer from his new pet. This bothered him a bit, but he waited a few minutes and then asked again, "How about going to church with me and receive blessings?" But agai there was no answer from his new friend and pet. So he waited a few minutes more, thinking about the situation. The guy decided to invite the centipede one last time. This time he put his face up against the centipede's house and shouted, "Hey, you in there! Would you like to go to church with me and learn about God?" ..... YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS ...... This time, a little voice came out of the box, "I heard you the first time! 'I'm putting my shoes on'!

An all time great. Rip in peace. Sad to see his demise last early March. 76 I believe. What a fighter was the 'Dartford Destroyer' was. Be some time till we see another one like him. Would have been great to have seen the other Great Ken Buchanon fight him. What a Box V fighter that would have been.

    Fight

Rehearsed scene. No two ways about that! His half hearted arm power wouldn't knock the lid of a tea - pot. A stump up into the stumach like that wouldn't do no more than take the lad's breathe away at most. He would still be more than conscious... even if in pain.

True. But then King Kenny should have known that! Either he was going to buy players him to suit his style, or thought he could change him. Not many managers are stupid enough to try that! Take Fergie, buys class players when he does buy - mostly - to endorse, compliment the team and them. Like I say, every time Kenny has tried to stand on his own two feet he fails miserably. Yes was a class player.... which should have told him the rudiments and fundemental realism of footballers. Fergie was allowed to build. ABVS wasn't. Bobby Robson was and nigh all decent to great managers have been. Hodgeson wasn't at Liverpool, but was allowed to steady the helm, and improve Fulham etc. And like Venables was allowed to - and Robson, too build on the sides overseas. So Kenny thought a great Sauzeee and a protial could be would be enough and just bolster around them with pretty decent players, like Henderson, Adams.... 'King Fool' I guess.1 He was allowed to spend, whereas Everton and Dave has been restriction season after season on out, and his WHOLE squad last season only cost £23 million to build, and he has had to sell a few on every year! A great manager. Never seen Martin O'neil spending fortunes! But gets great results. Fergie has sold on, but didn't buy in this past season to any extent. Arsenal make money every year, and don't spend in real terms.

Like most players / strikers in particular, they usually have a 'Feeder or Two that plays off them and for them well. The main thing is that the styles - wanted via the manager - is compatible to them all. That's why in a nut shell many so called 'Names / Greats' fail miserably for their country. THEY can't, aren't able to adapt. Another reason why I believe that the England squad come from Man U and Man city players - who can and could field a complete team, which should be bolstered with some other great youngsters coming through.. Let's face it, how many times, for whatever reason(s) does the old brigade of England, Lampard / Ferdi, Terry etc. have to prove that they A. Weren't good enough, and B obviously won't be, B. aren't able to improve to be good enough and that's for sure. Simple realism that! Fabio came with assurances of being able to be his own man. But the board - as ever - want to dictate and run the players they want, and cut across his toes etc. Give the job of the European Cup to Stuart Pearce and his former under - - under 21 /23 squad that excelled and have proved themselves., and let them gain the vital expierence they need for the next W/Cup. They have proved that they are caplable etc, and are able to move up a notch or two. They proved that they are capable of A. Playing for the manager. B. Playing for each other, and as a Team against Spain. they played to contain - no mean feat - with the view of snatching a winner. And a win is a win.

Very true. His record is far worst than Hodgeson's .... the man he stabbed in the back. Liverpool are struggling in the league under Dalglish to say the least. I mean six defeats in their' last seven matches (a Draw) leaving them eighth, 16 points off the top four and 34 behind Manchester United. Just 8 points from 36 eh! No where good enough, as simple as that. I think this just about sums it up. It does justice to King Kenny, a barrel of a sad jokes. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4237117/John-Aldridge-Liverpool-are-now-a-laughing-stock.html

Daglish, who has now, not only prsided over the worst Liverpool performances since 1954, but from all time., 7 Points from 36, 7 losses in lats nine games etc. etc. Like I stated from the very off, and why he should have got the job - indeed should have been removed before getting the players to revolt etc. HE NEVER has managed a side on his own ... Robinson was at the helm at Liverpool and Blackburn bought the title with the great backroom boys. Newcaste sacked him as did Celtic etc. etc. And to think he was the force that instigated Players and finally got his way, and the sacking of getting a far better manager in Hodgey. The man is a sad joke, and worst still in charge of a great club like liverpool. Undoubtedly, as a player one of the greatest club players of ANY time. Mind once again, like Rooney was never ever - outside of once - any good as a interrnational player... was a waste of time in 111 of his 112 games for Scotland. Time he was sacked. Liverpool shouild be looking at his replacement now... and ABVS would be a great choice. He'll have leant about Politics and 'PlayerPower / ego's' from his Chelsea days and will undobtedly be a great asset and manger for any club astute enough to get him.
  25. Yep, get well mucker, in the mean time take it easy eh!
